CTOPTIMAL is an up-and-coming Technology Company of CT-Group. The main goal of the company is conducting scientific research and performing technology transfer through developing artificial intelligence tools, based on the foundation of mathematical optimization and machine learning to optimize complex Industrial and Technological systems.
CTOPTIMAL distinguishes itself by spearheading the innovation of its own DCA (Difference of Convex Algorithm). DCA is the intellectual product of two Vietnamese scientists, first introduced by Pham Dinh Tao in 1985 and developed in-depth by Le Thi Hoai An and Pham Dinh Tao since 1993. Globally acknowledged as a state-of-the-art, powerful and versatile mathematical programming approach, DCA has achieved iconic status, gaining widespread recognition and prominence. It serves as the cornerstone of mathematical optimization and stands as a cutting-edge tool in the realm of machine learning, proving highly effective in the era of Big Data. Leveraging their groundbreaking scientific achievements, CTOPTIMAL can continuously produce new products centered around core technologies focused on optimization and machine learning.
The company consists of three headquarters: Main campus is located in France; the branches are located in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi, Vietnam.
Who are we ?
We are a group of Data scientists and Optimizers, Doctors in Applied Mathematics and/or in Computer Science, with more than thirty years of experience in developing industrial solutions.
Our scientific leaders are founders of DC (Difference of Convex functions) programming and DCA (DC Algorithm), recognized by the world as a state-of-the-art and powerful mathematical programming approach. These tools have been successfully used in many Laboratories as, but not limited to, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Imperial College, Institut fur Allgemeine Mechanik, Tokyo Institute of Technology, … and in big companies as Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Nasa, Siemens Medical Solutions, RTE, NAVAL Group …
What do we aim for ?
- To tackle the challenges of Data science by developing new techniques and tools for storing, transferring, accessing, visualizing, and analyzing large datasets, leading to new discoveries in the use of “complex data” in “complex systems”.
- The ultimate goal is to analyze and manage complex systems in optimal ways.
Our approaches
From the data to action in passing by knowledge, our passion is to build AI tools for the new prescriptive analytics wave.
We use data to build models and extract knowledge, we exploit knowledge to automate the discovery of improving solutions, and then we connect insight to decisions and actions.
